Company history
VAFO Group was created in 2018 by expanding the Czech company Vafo Praha with acquisitions in Germany, Poland, and Finland; however, each company in the group has a much longer and diverse history.
1994
Two entrepreneurs – a mechanical engineer and a nutrition expert – begin producing dry dog food
1998
Vafo brands strong in domestic market, first export sales, private label production begins

Creation of Brit, the company’s flagship brand
